Guliner aún no recibe respuesta.

I'm an American teen (18) and I do agree with you that this getiraneon is more of a party-hardy getiraneon. A lot of sex before marraige, a lot of drugs, drinking, etc. I think there are a number of reasons for this: what we see on television, the internet, these supposed role models in the celebrity world, etc. I also think the fact that we are further advanced in technology has something to do with it. Everything comes easier to this getiraneon so they feel they don't have to work as hard, etc. I'm not really a big-time party chick. I like good clean fun! hehe.

Betsy raises an eleexlcnt issue here. But if a company is afraid of headhunters, what is it really saying to its staff as well as to the world? Isn't it admitting openly that it is not keeping its people sufficiently happy to stay aboard? Is the truth harsh? You bet it is. We've worked for large organizations like that, too. Like most things in business, it's simple: the companies of excellence, whom everyone widely admires, have raised the bar. That removes all excuses for all the others out there. Do you think companies like Southwest Airlines, Netflix, and Disney (to name but three) block callers from being connected to their corporate people? In the past decade, about half the Fortune 500 companies have disappeared from the list. Gone! They operated on wrong principles: quarterly profit emphasis, secrecy, and fear. Tom Peters and Peter Drucker both agreed: the successful long-term companies, both public and private, operate in complete openness and they work assiduously to remove fear throughout the workplace. Some recommended reading: Jack Valenti, A Very Human President (an account of my friend's years as chief of staff for President Lyndon Johnson, and how fear was absent from management); James F. Parker, Do the Right Thing (former CEO of Southwest Airlines reveals the best thinking).
